Compare Pros and Cons: Instant Pot Ace Blender vs Vitamix
Instant Pot Ace Blender Pros
Eva Phelps says the Instant Pot Ace Blender pulverized a variety of foods including almonds, spinach pesto and smoothies. The pitcher with its built-in heater lets you cook and blend food simultaneously, which is perfect for foods like soups, baby foods and dairy alternatives. And the preset modes are useful to make commonly blended foods with the press of a button.
Carolyn Steele writes- “It is a useful and affordable appliance to add to your countertop”.
Viola Powell states that it meets a lot of needs for $99, and it performs better than other blenders at similar price points.
Instant Pot Ace Blender Cons
Harriet Mendez complains saying the blender was only adequate at crushing ice, and there are no manual controls if you want to use the heater without using a preset blending mode.
Alyssa Reyes says- “The Ace had trouble turning almond flour into almond butter and crushing ice evenly”
Vitamix Explorian Pros
Caroline Yates writes- “It’s the best blender I ever had. I tried to blend large quantity of soybeans for my tofu, made nuts and dates bars, which are hard to blend normally, but it did an awesome job”.
Nellie Aguilar says she loves the machine. She’s had it for 2 days and made smoothies, soup and banana ice cream. It’s one of the best kitchen gadgets she has ever owned.
Emma Bowen states- “I love my blender so much. I use it mainly for green smoothies and the blender really breaks down the ingredients to a smooth consistency. I do have to use the tamper quite a bit if I have too many frozen items in the container, if I use avocado, or if there isn’t enough liquid. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Vitamix over a basic blender”.
Vitamix Explorian Cons
Suzanne Cannon says she was expecting more but was disappointed to find this blender overheats when making smoothies. When tested with frozen bananas in the smoothie it brings on the smell of burning brushes. On/off switch is too easy to turn on by accident.
Christie Mack complains that the Vitamix Explorian refuses to pull things down into the blade. She has to mash it in hard with the ramming tool. Most blenders seem to pull things in once they get a good bite…otherwise this thing is incredible, will absolutely liquefy anything at all.
